Alex Corbett and Walter Andrewkowski, two guys thrown together by chance, now making their way in a crazy universe one adventure at a time. All the while trying to stay one step ahead of the mafia and with the hopes of turning a profit.
These are their original adventures, first published in the 1990's as black and white mini-comics.
It's kind of amusing that they've known each other for less than a day and they've already fallen into patterns.
So if you look into the stands, instead of a mass of squiggles, it's now a bunch of disembodied heads.
This issue is significant not only because of having a third person involved with the layout, but also because it was the beginning of what we called the war on white. You'll notice the stippling on the fabric banners and box enclosure as well as the hatching in the corners of the top panels. We really wanted to get some of that plain white out and Chris had become a fan of Bob Burden's Flaming Carrot and he jumped in and tried his hand at some Burden style shading to get some different tonal values in.
The success is varied.
