Living in the grid

So what made Jaka's story distinctive? The first thing was the regular page layouts. A six panel grid of tall skinny panels were the norm for most of the story.

You'll also see in that example the Oscar Wilde character. Our celebrity insert wasn't as prominent, but we will get to him.
The story was also a look at the life of one particular character. For us, it was a chance for Alex and Walter to get to know each other, and for us to learn about them in the process.
